System Ninja is a lightweight program designed to clean your computer of unwanted junk, constantly slowing your entire system down. System Ninja features a fast and powerful file cleaner, Startup Manager, Process Manager, plus several useful tools.

System Ninja is designed to clean the stuff that is outside of the scope of CCleaner's winapp2 function.

If you use CCleaner, you might be wondering why should you use System Ninja? Here is the answer from the developer of System Ninja:

CCleaner finds unwanted files based on the exact location of the file, yet it doesn’t recursively scan the entire drive looking for junk. In contrast, System Ninja does not know the locations of the junk files, rather it scans the entire drive and performs a number of checks to decide whether the file is junk or not. This includes looking at when the file was last accessed, whether any processes are reading from it, what file extension it has, the file name and whether it is contained in any internal whitelist. System Ninja will never clean as much as CCleaner, as it was [built] in order to complement CCleaner, together they make quite a good team.

System Ninja is absolutely free to use. You can download it using following link:

Archive Files Online Through Your Email

There are several file storage services and online backup tools that provide more or less similar functionalities.
A typical storage service lets you upload files then share the link for your friends to access.
FinalFolder offers a different approach to online file storage by letting you email files to your FinalFolder account for a seamless backup.
Setting up your backup with Final Folder is simple. Once you register, you only need to forward all the documents that you want to save to keep@finalfolder.com. Your files will then be automatically stored to your account.

You can easily access your saved files within 30 seconds with its unique search System. It can even search for content within documents for quick retrieval of files.
FinalFolder is basically a dump and forget backup system. When you need to send important files to your clients, you can make sure that everything is not lost by setting keep@finalfolder.com as your CC or BCC. So when you need to find these files, you’ll only need to look in one place.

How to Transfer Mails from one Email Account to another for Free

There can be several reasons why you may want to switch email service providers.
Reason #1. Your existing email address gets too much spam so you plan to dump the old account and switch to a new email address (a form of email bankruptcy).
Reason #2. You are leaving your existing job for higher studies and need to transfer all personal emails from the Microsoft Exchange server to your new university email account.
Reason #3. Your ISP’s email service isn’t reliable and you therefore plan to move to a free web based email service like Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, etc.
Reason #4. You think the new email service from XYZ Inc. offers more features than your existing mail provider and hence want to make the move.

Moving Emails from One Account to Another

This illustration will help you visualize how to transfer email messages across the three most popular web email services. The transfer will happen online and you just need to specify the credentials (user name & password) of your old email account (from where you want to move message out) and your new email address (where you want to move messages in).

Moving to Windows Live Hotmail
Windows Live Hotmail is integrated with TrueSwitch so you can easily transfer emails from Yahoo Mail, AOL, Gmail, Live.com, .Mac, etc. to your shiny new Hotmail address. The same service may also be used for copying old email from an existing Hotmail account to a new Hotmail address.
Moving to Yahoo Mail
Like Windows Live Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail too provides integration with TrueSwitch so you can easy copy mails from Gmail, Hotmail, AOL, Juno, Rocket Mail, etc. into your Yahoo! account. With TrueSwitch, you can also copy mails from one Yahoo! inbox to another without upgrading to Yahoo! Mail Plus.
Moving to Gmail / Google Apps
Gmail (or Google Apps for Email) has a built-in Mail Fetcher feature that lets you download email messages from 5 different email accounts that support POP access. You may therefore use this feature to move your old Hotmail or AOL messages into Gmail as both these service provide free POP3 access.
The migration from Yahoo! Mail to Gmail is slightly tricky but possible. Keep reading.
Trick: Move emails from Yahoo Mail to Gmail or Outlook without POP

The free account of Yahoo Mail doesn’t provide IMAP or POP3 access so you can’t move these emails into Gmail or a desktop client like Microsoft Outlook.
The Yahoo! Mail Plus upgrade will add POP3 access to you account at $20 per year but if you want to save some money, here’s an alternate but simple trick:

1. Create a new account at Windows Live Hotmail and fetch all your Yahoo! mails into this account using the free TrueSwitch Service.
2. Now that your mails are inside Hotmail, you can setup POP3 configuration to fetch those Yahoo messages into Gmail via Hotmail.
Migrating Emails Away from your ISP Account
TrueSwitch mentioned above supports all popular ISPs including Comcast, Verizon, CableVision, AT&T, etc. but if your ISP is not in the list and you don’t have the time to configure your email client for POP3 or IMAP access, check out Yippie Move.
It’s a online email transfer service similar to TrueSwitch but supports an even larger number of email service providers including the .edu addresses of certain colleges and universities in US. With YippieMove, you can choose folders (or labels in Gmail) that you want to copy to the new location without having to move the entire mailbox. The service is quick and easy but costs around $15 per email account.
Copying emails from Microsoft Exchange / Outlook
  • Every organization has a different policy with respect to corporate email so check with the administration if your Exchange service offers POP3 or IMAP access – if yes, you can easily transfer messages into any of the free web mail accounts directly as listed above.
Email Transfer Complete? The Next Step
Now that all your message have moved to your new email address, you can set up a vacation responder in your old email account to auto-inform contacts about your new email address.

Top 10 Worst Passwords You Should Never Use

According to a recent report, most users still haven't answered the call by security experts to implement more robust passwords. In fact, in a list of the most easy to hack passwords, simply typing '123456' took a truly forgettable top prize.

Imperva this week released its list of the passwords most likely to be hacked based on 32 million instances of successful hacking. Imperva named their report "Consumer Password Worst Practices," and some of the entries near the top are truly simple.

Worst Password Practices

The top three passwords all included the simple streaming of numbers: first '123456' followed by '12345' and then '123456789'. Similar entries reappeared at eight and nine on a top ten list. However, the fourth most-hacked password was actually just the word 'Password' followed by 'iloveyou' and 'princess' at spots five and six.

What the report shows is that people still aren't using effective strategies to protect their sensitive information online. Using these kinds of passwords to protect your email or, worse yet, banking information, could lead to theft or identity fraud.

Top 10 Worst Passwords
The following is a list of the most predictable passwords, and should not be used under any circumstances
1. 123456

2. 12345

3. 123456789

4. Password

5. iloveyou

6. princess

7. rockyou

8. 1234567

9. 12345678

10. abc123

Passwords Too Short, Simple
Other key findings in the report: it seems that almost 1 in 3 users choose passwords comprised of six or fewer characters; more than half use passwords based on only alpha-numeric characters; and almost 50 per cent used variations on their name, popular slang terms, or simple strings of consecutive characters from the average QWERTY -- such as 'asdfg'.

Imperva has made several obvious recommendations, suggesting most users adopt passwords with at least eight characters and to mix those characters between upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols. Obviously the passwords should be simple enough that they won't be too easily forgotten, but the idea is to make cracking the code virtually impossible for either an unknown or known hacker.

Make the Most of Your Middle Mouse Button

Take a close look at your mouse. Chances are good it has at least three buttons: left, right, and middle. (Note: Your middle button might be your scroll wheel, which on most mice is clickable.)

First up: browser tabs. I routinely have 10-15 tabs open in my browser at any given time. If I want to close a tab, I have to click it, then click the little X that appears on the tab. That's one more click than I prefer, and it brings into focus a tab I'm planning to close. Crazy, right? Calling Middy! If you middle-click any tab in Firefox or Internet Explorer, boom, it's gone. No need to make it visible first, no need to reach for the X. Just middle-click, boom.

5 simple steps to Lock folders without using any software

Step 1 : Select the Folder to be locked ,
for example I will select folder “movie” in D drive i.e. D:\movie
Step 2 : In the same drive, create a text file and type ren movie movie.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} and save it as loc.bat
Step 3 : Again you type in a notepad as ren movie.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} movie and save it as key.bat
Step 4 : Now in D drive you can see two batch files loc and key. When you double click loc.bat, the movie folder will change to control panel and when you double click key.bat the control panel will change to normal folder.
Step 5 : Done! You have simply changed that folder into some other thing and no one can access the data inside it.
You can change that folder into other directories too. The above code is for Control panel; others are listed below:
1. {20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D} - Turned to Explorer
2. {0DF44EAA-FF21-4412-828E-260A8728E7F1} - Turned to start menu properties
3. {6DFD7C5C-2451-11d3-A299-00C04F8EF6AF} - Turned to Folder Options
4. {7007ACC7-3202-11D1-AAD2-00805FC1270E} - Turned to Network Connections
5. {D20EA4E1-3957-11d2-A40B-0C5020524152} - Turned to Fonts Folder
6. {D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF} - Turned to Scheduled tasks
7. {E211B736-43FD-11D1-9EFB-0000F8757FCD} - Turned to Scanners & camera
8. {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} - Turned to Recycle bin
9. {2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D} - Turned to Printers Folder
Note : You will need to keep both batch files in the same drive as of locked folder.
